Participation of the EOD COE on the 2022 NATO COE Marketplace

After more than two years, due to the bad pandemic situation, the Marketplace for accredited NATO Centres of Excellence was re-established. The event took place at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium from 10 to 11 May 2022 and was a great opportunity for our Explosive Ordnance Disposal Centre of Excellence (EOD COE) to promote our activities.

The aim of 2022 COE Marketplace was to provide an opportunity for all staff and national personnel at NATO HQ to meet representatives of the 28 NATO-accredited Centres of Excellence (COEs) in order to recognize, understand and embrace the value of the expertise, support and advice provided by these NATO affiliated organizations to the Alliance.

The event was opened by General Paolo Ruggiero, Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, emphasizing the vital contribution of the Centres of Excellence.

The activities of our centre in Brussels were presented by the LTC Sandor ZSIROS (HUN-A), MAJ Zuzana CAHOJOVA (SVK-A) and MSGT Gergely BRANDT (HUN-A).
