Welcome to the web site created to enable sharing of information within the EOD community. It is accessible to the entire professional EOD community at operational, tactical and strategic levels, scientists, people working in the field of training, execution, development and research, and companies dealing with the EOD products.

I do realize that there exists a lot of web sites dedicated to the EOD subjects, however, none of them provides you with the satisfaction of all requirements and needs. This website offers information access to databases areas:

  • Technologies, research and development

ETACS Project Testing – Novaky

From 18-20th March 2026, the ETACS project management team within the NATO EOD COE Technology Department successfully conducted a field test at the 905th Specialized Combat Support Center in Nováky. This validation process was implemented in close cooperation with fifth-year cadets from the Armed Forces Academy (AOS) in Liptovský Mikuláš and the representatives of 4Experience – the virtual reality software development company working on the ETACS project.

We were honoured to take part in the 22nd International Symposium “Mine Action 2026,” held in Split, Croatia, from 23 to 25 March 2026. This edition was especially notable due to the announcement that Croatia has been declared a mine-free country after 30 years of humanitarian demining.

On 20 MAR 2026, the NATO Explosive Ordnance Disposal Centre of Excellence (EOD COE) received a distinguished delegation from the NATO Defense College (NDC) and the NATO Regional Cooperation Course 35 (NRCC 35). Led by BGEN Ferenc MOLNAR (HDF), Director of the Academic Operations Division, and BGEN (Res) Ylli PULAJ (ALB), the visitors were welcomed by the Director of the EOD COE, COL Frantisek MIHALOVIC (SVK-A).
