From 15 to 19 June 2026 representative of NATO EOD COE, LTC Witold PLEZIA, took part in the C-IED Annual Conference 2026, organized by the Counter-Improvised Explosive Devices Centre of Excellence (C-IED COE) in Valencia, Spain. The event brought together experts from armed forces, security services, international organizations, academia, and industry from NATO and NATO’s partnership nations.

Today, the NATO Explosive Ordnance Disposal Centre of Excellence (NATO EOD COE) marks a significant milestone – the 15th anniversary of its official NATO accreditation!
To celebrate a decade and a half of dedication, innovation, and international cooperation, a special ceremony was held at the Garrison Club in Trenčín.

Today, the EOD COE community gathers to bid a heartfelt farewell to our Deputy Director, LtC Blake Carlton ZENTENO from the USA, as he finishes his tour of duty with us and prepares for his next assignment.
