5th Initial EOD Staff Officer Training accomplished 

Eight participants in total, from five NATO countries participated in the training event (1xBEL, 2xFRA, 1xCZE, 1xHUN, 1xPOL, 2xSVK), during which they were supplied with the essential skills in accordance with STANAG 2389/ ANNEX F - ,,Standards of proficiency for an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Staff Officer”. In order to support commanders intent when working in multinational environment within two weeks E&IT (Education and Individual Training ) graduates were directed by pool of lecturers how to use available EOD capabilities on different command levels (national level - battalion, intermediate - brigade). During activity EOD COE invited two JCBRN COE (Czech republic, Vyskov) subject matter experts, CDR Michail Zambardas (GRE-NAVY) and Capt Pavel Truchly (SVK-A) to perform CBRN and EOD related area as well Hungarian EOD regiment doctor 1LT Attila Szíjárto, who explained the AJP-4.10 –“Medical support issues in favour of EOD operations”. In accordance with the entry and final test minimum criteria all of the attendees matched progress and finally graduated. Reading the ,,New born” EOD SOs final questionnaire none of the nation’s participants handles such a deliverable in which on the contrary the EOD COE existing training was rated as a common understanding in EOD matters.
