ACO Force Protection WG Meeting

Following the Request for Feedback and based on the NATO Doctrine Tasks, the custodian of Allied Joint Doctrine for Force Protection (AJP-3.14) called for already second writing team meeting. The aim of the meeting was to review the rest of the comments received from the working draft of the revised AJP-3.14.

The first writing team meeting was hosted by Joint Air Power Competence Centre (JAPCC) in Kalkar, Germany during last week of September 2018. There were more than 400 inputs received from NATO and national organizations. The goal to review all of them in one week was not realistic and as a result the custodian had to organize another meeting of the writing team.

The second meeting was held from 1 – 5 April 2019 also in the premises of JAPCC in Kalkar, Germany. The EOD COE was represented by LTC Milan JANKURA, Head of EOD Policy, Concept, Doctrine and Standardization Branch, who also took part in the first writing team meeting. The writing team was able to finish the process of reviewing all of the comments and as a result the custodian is now able to proceed further with the update of the Allied Joint Doctrine for Force Protection.
