This event was divided into 4 sessions: the state of play of NATO CIED Action Plan, the Intelligence and Information Sharing, ISAF requirements (VTC with ISAF HQ CJ3) and finished by a focus on best practices and Lessons Learned. In parallel, the Deputy Director and Head of LL section had the opportunity to attend the “4th Annual C-IED Workshop” which took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Brussels, on 15th November. They were involved into a series of C-IED seminars led by MKDS Training Team and into a static Exhibition offered to a large community of interest (NATO and EU, civilians and military). Concurrently, the Director held discussions with members of the Emerging Security Challenges Division focused on assistance in preparation of the NATO EOD Demonstrations & Trials 2012, which will take place in Trencin, Slovakia in September 2012.
