Delegation of the Italian National C-IED Centre visits the EOD COE

The meeting was dedicated to the exchange of information in the EOD  field of expertise between both organizations and to the discussion about proposals for cooperation in the future that could cover the following fields of NATO interests:

• exchange procedures regarding Evaluation and Certification process
• technical standards for equipment testing
• active participation of lecturers/EOD SMs in the NATO EOD Staff Officer Course; and
• discussion about possible embedding of a permanent positon in the EOD COE structure for a SME from Italian Armed Forces.

The National Italian C-IED COE has already cooperated with the EOD COE to development of the Staff Officer CBRN EOD Incident Course as a project for years 2015 and 2016.
