The Swedish delegation led by Brigadier General Arne Hedén, a Special Advisor of the Swedish Ministry of Defence, and composed from representatives of relevant components of the Swedish MoD was accompanied by a delegation of the Slovak MOD led by Marek Lisánský, Director General of Defence Policy Dept of the MoD.
Director EOD COE Col Mrváň in his presentation informed the Swedish delegation about the history of the Centre, its mission, current tasks and future projects and endavours. In the conclusion of the meeting, Col Mrváń heartily invited representatives of the Swedish MOD to the NATO EOD Demonstrations and Trials 2014, the NATO sponsored exhibition to be held at the end of September in Trencin, Slovakia.
The goal of both MODs is to develop new joint defense projects in areas such as EOD, CBRN, military education and training, military medicine, regional cooperation and air defence. The results of consulations promise to launch mutually beneficial cooperation.
