GICHD Innovations Conference

From 14-16 November 2023 LTC Damian Piorko and LTC (ret.) Libor Neyki from the EOD Technologies Department took part in the GICHD Innovations Conference. The conference welcomed over 300 participants from more than 200 organizations operating in over 60 countries and territories. 

It was an excellent platform to make new contacts with personnel responsible for demining and munition disposal in mine/UXO/IED-affected areas. The event brought in companies presenting their new inventions and looking for new projects or product development co-partners.

Participation in GICHD IC may bring invaluable advantages in future: joint projects, info exchange, mutual invitations for events, etc. NATO EOD COE would like to thank event organizer Mr. Pedro Basto for the invitation and hope that GICHD representatives will take part in the EOD Workshop, which is organized by our Centre and will be held in November 2024.
