Home-Made Explosives Course-Basic
The course, entitled "Home-Made Explosives Course – Basic", was held on the ATC´s premises in Novaky military base, from Tuesday, September 24, to Thursday, September 26, 2013.
The course provided first responders with the knowledge to recognize and report the presence of the HME as well as the precursors and facilities where HME are fabricated. The course included instructions and training on Explosives characteristics and associated hazards, recognition of a wide variety of HME precursors, recognition of HME manufacturing and IED production and HME scene safety and security.
All 13 participants from 9 NATO countries are now fully aware of individual precursors, manufacturing equipment and final HME products, as well as the HME clandestine laboratories recognition and/or identification.
