INMEP 2023

Two members of NATO EOD COE LTC Damian PIORKO and MSGT Gabor KOROM participated in the "18th Annual International Meeting of EOD and Bomb Technicians", which was organized in Olsina, Czech Republic from May 8 to May 12, 2023.

During the event, the EOD and C-IED SMEs could gain insight into the various aspects of the EOD field presented by researchers, scholars and EOD technicians representing different countries. 

LTC Piorko, Head of the EOD Technologies Dep., presented the NATO EOD COE projects being under development i.e. EOD/IEDD Equipment Catalogue, the Demonstrations and Trials 2023 event, which will be held this year in October, and finally the ETACS project focusing on EOD training in virtual reality. 

The INMEP appeared to be an excellent platform for networking, sharing much of practical EOD experience and meeting people with a passion for their profession.
