Military Partnership Directorate (MPD), SHAPE Mons, Belgium

MPD is the designated Bi Strategic Command lead for managing formal Military Partnerships with partner countries and coordinates all military partnership efforts. The aim of meeting was exchange of information and establishment of working mechanisms for coordination of activities and events between EODCOE and MPD. EOD COE DIR Col Bieleny briefed MPD authorities and representatives of PfP countries about the Centre`s projects while highlighting training activities that are open to Partnership Coordination Menu (PCM).

Following discussion was focused on planning partnership tools and mechanisms that needs to be taken into account when engaged in partnership activities. Utilisation of “e-PRIME” Partnership Real-Time Information Management and Exchange System was the hot topic of discussion. The EOD COE is willing to submit its POW portfolio through the “e-PRIME’ system to PCM community.
