Visit of the Military Diplomatic Corps

On 29 November 2022 EOD COE hosted a visit of 18 attaches accredited in Slovakia. The delegation was accompanied by the representatives of Slovak MoD.

After the Director’s welcome speech the presentation of the EOD COE was delivered. In turn, the Head of the E&T Department familiarized an audience with his tasks and challenges. As the last speaker, the Head of the EOD Technologies Department took the floor and provided vital information pertaining to EOD COE’s ongoing and accomplished projects. The agenda was concluded with the live demonstration of a flag project called EOD/IEDD VR/XR Training and Combat Support Kit (ETACS), which is based on virtual and extended reality.

Thanks to this opportunity the attaches could be acquainted with EOD COE’s tasks, history and challenges. We hope that such meeting will increase cooperation between the Centre and respective attaches.
