State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence visits the EOD Centre of Excellence

On 3rd May 2016 the Second State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic Ivan MÁČOVSKÝ visited the EOD Centre of Excellence in Trenčín.

EOD COE Director Colonel Ľubomír MRVÁŇ presented the mission of the Centre which is to support and enhance the NATO transformation effort in the EOD functional area and informed the State Secretary about the EOD COE history, structure, community of interest, current activities, projects and future endeavour. The State Secretary also had opportunity to meet representatives of the sponsoring nations actually working at the Centre and stated that the EOD COE is well prepared to fulfill tasks in accordance with the Programme of Work.
