Writing Session for the review and update of Commanders and Staff Handbook for C-IED

The members of C-IED COE, NMIOTC (NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Centre) and EOD COE together with national representatives of Greece, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands participated in the writing session focused on the review and update of Commanders and Staff Handbook for C-IED.

The writing session was organised by the C-IED COE as the custodian of the handbook and hosted by the NMIOTC. As EOD represents one of the three C-IED pillars (Defeat the Device), the active contribution of the EOD COE representative to the review of the handbook was very much appreciated by our sister Centre of Excellence. 

The writing session took place form 31 August to 3 September 2020 in the premises of NMIOTC in Chania, Greece. The EOD COE was represented by LTC Milan JANKURA from transformation support department.
