The NATO Explosive Ordnance Disposal Centre of Excellence is pleased to invite all Subject Matter Experts in the area of EOD, C-IED, CBRN, DAT, and MILENG from all NATO and Interoperability Platform Countries (IPC) to the 10th EOD Workshop (EOD WS), which will be organised in X-Bionic Hotel. Šamorín, Slovakia, from 5 to 6 November 2024. The overarching topic of the EOD WS is "Consistent EOD Capability Development".

The NATO EOD COE Steering Committee took place in Trenčin, Slovakia from 17 to 20 October 2022. The meeting was focused on aproval of the the Programme of Work (POW)2023, the Budget 2023, the Mid-Term Finacial Plan (MTFP) 2024-2028.

The main idea of the NATO EOD Demonstrations and Trials 2021 is "Technological Innovation Influencing Future EOD and Related Capabilities", a challenge for EOD/IEDD experts, scientists, producers, industry and SMEs involved in the fight against terrorism. The exhibition takes place at the INCHEBA Expo Bratislava, Slovakia from 13 to 14 October 2021.

The EOD COE launches a series of EOD Staff Officer (EOD SO) Seminars. These seminars are designed to provide basic EOD staff orientation in planning and C2 of EOD operations in accordance with NATO standards. The seminars do not replace the EOD staff officer qualification set in AEODP-10, Annex F, EOD principles and minimum standards of proficiency.
The seminars are held on 21-22 July 2021 and 25-26 August 2021 as online events through WebEx platform.The seminars are free, the registration form is available at www.eodcoe.org.

The 8th EOD WS held on 05-06 May 2021 was an indirect continuum of the EOD LL seminars and workshops organised by the EOD COE since 2012. This year, the event designed for the EOD and related Communities of Interest was organised as an online event for the first time.
The impressive number of registered participants (up to 300 SMEs) from all continents around the world proved that there is a need to have such a platform (although online) for sharing perspectives and lessons amongst military specialists, producers, and academics.

The HME Advanced Course introduces responding personnel to the precursors used by criminals and terrorists in the manufacturing process of homemade explosives. Students learn to identify the hazards of mixed or partially mixed precursor chemicals, identify unknown materials and related hazards, process a scene for evidentiary purposes and safely remove and dispose of these hazards. Two courses are to be held on 01-05 July 2019 and 08-12 July 2019.

Mid-Term Finnacial Plan 2020-2024, E&T 2020 Calendar, ICT Project, update about NATO requirement on enhancing the protection of COE networks and updates on EOD COE progress according to the POW.
