69th EOD WG
Team from the NATO EOD COE, led by COL MIHALOVIČ also acting as WGs Vice Chairperson, joined the 69th EOD Interservice Working Group held in Amsterdam, NLD. The team was sent there to support the NATO standardization endeavour. For this Working Group we prepared quite a read-ahead package. We presented solutions such as EOC by presenting a whitepaper called “Definitions are Important The Problem with “Explosive Ordnance Clearance” (EOC).” Where we provided a bit of research and a proposal for EOC annex to one of NATO Standards. We also wrote a standard from a scratch an presented it to the national representatives who approved and agreed on adopting it as the next study draft. Moreover, we presented a terminology issue, because terms are important! Our work was appreciated and provides valuable inputs in the area. We’re already looking forward for the next working group.
