From 19th to 20th January 2017, the Director of the NATO EOD Centre of Excellence received the delegation from Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) - Mr Samuel PAUNILA, the Advisor, Ammunition Operations,  accompanied by Mr John RAWSON, the Advisor, Ammunition Safety Management.

The aim of the visit was to discuss venues for   cooperation between GICHD and NATO EOD COE.
GICHD is an expert organization working to reduce the impact of mines, cluster munitions and other explosive hazards, in close partnership with mine action institutions and other human security actors. The GICHD supports national authorities, international and regional organizations and NGOs in their efforts to improve the relevance, performance, safety and sustainability of mine action.
