Commander of the Italian Engineers visits the EOD COE

From 13th to 14th October 2016 the Commander of Italian Engineers Brigadier General Francesco BINDI, accompanied by Colonel Mauricio MASCARINO, the Commander of Italian Joint C-IED COE, visited the EOD Centre of Excellence on the occasion of the CBRN EOD Incident Management Staff Officer Training (CBRN EID IM SOT) organized with the support of Italian instructors. The both distinguished visitors took part also at the handover ceremony of certificate to the participants  for the completion of the course. 

During the visit of the EOD COE, Director COL Ľubomír MRVÁŇ briefed the delegation about the EOD COE history, mission, structure, community of interest, as well as current activities and future projects. He expressed his thanks to Brigadier General BINDI for the great help, assistance and support by ITA participants during preparation and live demonstration within the CBRN EOD IM SOT. 

In closing, Brigadier General  BINDI confirmed a commitment to continue cooperation with the EOD COE, which would be concretized in the forthcoming technical agreement in near future.
