“NATO use civil standards” workshop

The head of PCDS Branch MAJ Peter MRAZIK participated to the “NATO use civil standards” workshop, which took place in Athens, Greece, from 07 to 09 February 2023.  This event was organized by Hellenic National Defence General Staff.

The aim of the workshop was to provide awareness on the NATO Standardization Policy, Structure, and Procedures with focus on the adoption of Civil Standards in Emerging and Disruptive Technologies within NATO.
Workshop participants from NATO and EU organizations, NATO countries as well as individuals from Academy and Industry with expertise in the Emerging and Disruptive technologies domain highlighted the importance of civil standards implementation within the NATO and the fact that borders between civil and military spheres are becoming blurred.
