2022 Alliance Warfare Development Conference

The Director of EOD COE together with other COE directors contributed to the AWD conference organized by NATO ACT in Norfolk form 6 to 8 December 2022. Within four syndicates the attendees discussed and elaborated on the determined topics with the leading theme “Better Today, Stronger Tomorrow”.

There was a dedicated timeslot for the COE DIRs meeting with DSACT General BADIA as FOGO Champion, where we discussed centers contribution and added value of COE to NATO. The Head of COE Programme Development branch informed the DSACT about the achievements of COEs in 2022 and planned tasks for 2023. Several directors briefly informed about their COEs inputs resulting from the Russian aggression against Ukraine. DSACT ensured its support towards the Centers and requested COEs to be agile and to contribute in matters out of business as usual, too.

At the end of the event, Col.Csaszar had an office call with the DCOS JFD General VOUDOURIS (EOD COE FOGO) to elaborate in details on COE achievements in recent years and planned tasks for 2023. DCOS JFD appreciated the information and ensured his intent to visit the EOD COE at the earliest opportunity possibly in March 2023.
