Terrorism Experts Conference and  Executive Level Defence Against Terrorism Seminar 2024

 

The NATO Centre of Excellence – Defence Against Terrorism (COE-DAT) organized the Terrorism Experts Conference and Executive Level Defence Against Terrorism Seminar 2024 in Ankara, Turkey, from 16 to 17 October 2024.

The primary goal of the conference was to introduce and discuss the new developments in counter-terrorism from a strategic standpoint while exchanging insightful knowledge, experiences, and research to foster a shared understanding of the security issues of today.

This year, in addition to relevant stakeholders from NATO Command Structure and Partner Nations, the event brought together academics, practitioners, and strategic level experts in the field of Defence Against Terrorism to discuss and examine the most recent emerging threats in counter-terrorism.

The EOD COE was represented by MAJ Adrian PETER, the Head of Transformation Support Department. He actively engaged with the relevant stakeholders in order to synchronize the world-wide efforts for the fight against terrorism.

The EOD COE will continue to support all NATO COEs initiatives by including the EOD expertise in all the relevant activities.
