Annual ETACS Workshop

The Technology Development Department of the NATO Explosive Ordnance Disposal Centre of Excellence (EOD COE) organizes the ETACS Workshop annually in Trenčín, Slovakia.

The event brings together EOD experts as well as dedicated virtual reality specialists from various NATO countries directly involved in the development of the ETACS project or interested in supporting the project.

The main goals of this event are:

• To gather EOD subject matter experts along with XR specialists to enhance ETACS development.
• To present and examine the progress of the ETACS project in previous year.
• To find points of improvement and discuss the priorities for future improvement of the project.
• To compare similar projects and explore opportunities for further cooperation through networking, information and data sharing with other organizations.

Solutions derived from the event’s discussion are properly noted and used by the management team of the ETACS Project in order to progress with the development in accordance with the ideas and propositions of EOD experts.
