ETACS Workshop 2024

Following the outcomes of the EOD VR Workshop 2023 the development of the ETACS Project continued with VR development company 4Experience, including field testing and promotion on various events throughout the year 2024. The feedback from the workshop and its analysis were crucial for the effective planning and development of the project.

The highlight of the year was the ETACS Workshop in 2024, conducted on 24-25 September in Trencin, which once again brought together military representatives, academic experts and IT specialists from several countries. The workshop not only focused on the technical progress of the project, but also emphasized the importance of networking and strengthening international collaborations.

While the focus of this event was progress and future of the ETACS project, the participants also shared specific experiences from their real EOD tasks as well as some interesting uses of the Extended Reality and related technologies in various projects. This combination of military and civilian topics sparked discussions, which were huge part of the event, in the form of break-out sessions.

Solutions derived from these break-out sessions were properly noted and will be used by the managment team of the ETACS Project in order to progress with the development in accordance with the ideas and propositions of EOD experts.
