26th EOD COE Steering Committee Meeting 

The 26th NATO EOD COE Steering Committee meeting (SC mtg) was successfully completed. The meeting was held from 17 APR to 20 APR 2023 in Prague, CZE. At the SC mtg, sponsoring nations representatives from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia were updated about Financial Statement 2022, Financial Audit 2022 report, E&T Calendar for 2024, EOD COE Structure, Budget 2023 implementation and update on EOD COE progress according to POW. At the same time, the USA representative took part at the 26th SC mtg and provided an update on USA Joining the EOD COE. The USA is in the final stages of obtaining the authority to sign and conclude the USA Notes of Joining (NOJs) for the EOD COE. With regards to this the SC agreed with the intent to have an Liaison officer in place prior the finalization of US joining the EOD COE.
