EOD Working Group Meeting, Kiel, Germany

The EOD experts from NATO nations and entities convened in Kiel, Germany, during the semi-annual EOD WG meeting under the umbrella of NATO Standardisation Office.

The meeting was held for the first time at naval base on 22-25 October 2019. This unintentionally served as a visible symbol for recently established EOD in Maritime Environment panel within the WG.

The nations discussed the progress about ratification of lately submitted STANAGs, contributed to elaboration to those in review and were asked to submit their proposal/best practices to those which are entering the revision cycle. Due to the absence of Chairman, the director of EOD COE, Colonel Császár,  with approval of nations acted as Vice Chairman and led the regular meeting.
