The other run of the Former Warsaw Pact Ammunition Course -basic was successfully delivered by NATO EOD COE from 17th till 21st February 2014.
As it became tradition, the course was run in area of Slovak National EOD Centre in Novaky, providing classroom and wide range of training aids, and led by NATO EOD COE instructors. Lessons focused on various kinds of main FWP ammunition were enhanced by practical exercises providing students with closer look, and understanding of this problematic. Participant went through construction, function, marking and safety consideration of ammunition which could be found as an UXO all around the world. Totally 11 students from 5 countries (CAN, SWISS, SVN, TUR and SVK) attended the event, which was officially finished by NATO EOD COE director, COL Lubomir Mrvan on Friday 21st February afternoon, who also awarded attendees with course badges and certificates of completion.
