JCBRN COE visit

Led by LTC (FRA) Richard VIDAL, Deputy Director of EOD COE, this event was organized in 2 parts. The first one was a delivery of information reliable to both organizations, facilities, 2012 programs of work, and area of interest. DDIR seized the opportunity to propose a plan for further cooperation for the next 5 years. COL (HUN) ZELENAK agreed these bullets and expressed additional requests.

The second part was focusing on specific issues as CBRN EOD doctrine and standardization (Mr ZOLLER), CRBN EOD advanced technologies (LTC BEDNARCZYK), and was enhanced by a free discussion round. JCBRN COE requested an support to develop a common EOD/CBRN Database and to develop a multinational training. EOD COE officially requested JCBRN COE commitment into the next Demo and Trials. Both parties agreed that EOD COE presented very favorable conditions in Slovakia to enhance EOD CBRN cooperation trough a BCMD basis.

A very positive point was the comprehensive approach of both parties and the willingness to deeply cooperate in order to improve the Alliance standards within this sensitive and complex field. This cooperation should go on through a bi-annual meeting process.
