Meeting with the High-Level IRAQ Delegation

IRAQi Delegation, lead by MG Hadi Athab Salman, Director Engineer of the IRAQ Armed Forces, showed interests in the Homemade Explosives Basic / Train the Trainers Course offer by the NATO EOD COE. This course will be delivered to selected IRAQ EOD specialist through the Science for Peace and Security Programme.

Subsequently, the IRAQi Delegation visited NATO EOD COE and both supporting units NC EOD and CTM in Novaky, to see conditions and training facilities in which the training is delivered and to get familiar our current work and future endeavors. At the end of the visit the NATO EOD COE Director and MG Salman signed agreement on cooperation to enable execution of the HME Basic Train the trainers in November 2013 for 14 EOD specialists from IRAQ.
