Members of the Military-Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Slovak Republic visited EOD COE

On February 21, 2024, members of the Military-Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Slovak Republic visited the EOD Centre of Excellence. During their visit, the Centre's director, Colonel František Mihalovič (SVK-A), provided a briefing on the Centre's history, structure, mission, vision, and main tasks. The member of the Education and Training Department, Captain Róbert Braun (CZE-A), gave a short presentation on the Center's training activities. 2nd LT David Slatkovsky (SVK-A) and MSGT Gábor Korom (HUN-A) from the EOD Technologies Department demonstrated the capabilities of the ETACS: training kit for EOD operators based on the use of virtual reality, which is being developed by the EOD COE.

In conclusion, Director COL Mihalovič thanked the members of the Military-Diplomatic Corps delegation for visiting the EOD Centre of Excellence, expressed hope for future cooperation and informed them about the possibility of becoming a Sponsoring or Voluntary Contribution Nation.
