Despite the COVID countermeasures being currently enhanced by many European countries including Germany, the MILENG COE, Ingolstadt, managed to organise and conduct a fruitful event – the MILENG COE’s Information Exchange Seminar 2021 and the Industry Day on 6 - 9 December 2021.
As bonds between our Centres are strong, the EOD COE representatives regularly participate in this activity. This year, EOD COE Director COL Robert CSASZAR (SVK-A) and Head of Technology Department LTC Damian Piorko (POL-A) took part in the seminar and exhibition part.
The whole seminar was concentrated on the role of MILENG capabilities in support of dispersed operations. The major theme was very demanding and induced participants to solve intricate issues during the syndicates.
During the Industry Day, our presence was accentuated by exhibiting EOD COE’s latest achievement and products by MAJ Zuzana CAHOJOVA (SVK-A). The flag project EOD/IEDD VR/XR Training and Combat Support Kit (ETAC) posed a focal point of our promotional area and it was presented by IT specialist Mr. Balint Zsiros (HUN).
The Industry Day gathered the significant number of exhibitors, who presented their products of various aspects of MILENG, e.g. heavy engineer machines, EOD infrastructure, airport lighting, sentry systems, HAZMAT substance detection, wet obstacles bridges/ferries, etc.
On the whole, the MILENG COE’s Information Exchange Seminar and Industry Day were the outstanding and well organized meetings and excellent platform for engineers to exchange their knowledge and perspectives on different aspects of MILENG areas of expertise. Director Col Robert CSASZAR (SVK-A) would like to thank to MILENG COE Director COL Thorsten LUDWIG for the invitation, warm welcome and congratulate him on organising this great event.
