NATO Senior Joint Engineer Conference 2024

The Director, Colonel Frantisek Mihalovic, and the Chief of Staff, Colonel Zsolt Szilagyi from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Centre of Excellence (EOD COE) participated in the NATO Senior Joint Engineer Conference (NSJEC) in Edelweiss Resort, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, 12-14 November. The annual meeting was Co-Chaired by DACOS Capabilities (ACT) and ACOS Joint Engineering (ACO) and hosted by the United States of America. The Director provided an update of EOD COE’s and EOD WG’s activities.

The Conference provided opportunity for the NATO Senior Joint Military Engineering Officers from across the NATO Nations, NATO Command and Force Structures and Partner Nations or organizations to discuss NATO Military Engineering priorities for interoperability training, standardization and doctrine development. It also was an information exchange forum for the nations and the NATO Command and Force Structure.
