LTC Sandor ZSIROS, the COS of NATO EOD COE, participated in the 1st Regional Military Engineering Conference, organized by HQ MND-SE held in Bucharest, Romania, from 28 to 30 SEP 2021.

The main goal of the event was to gather the Engineering community and to sustain a viable regional network of military engineers. On the conference, besides the members of NCS and NATO FCS, the NATO MILENG and EOD COE introduced itself.

The participants enjoyed a drill, made by ROU 2nd EOD Group. The team identified and detonated a suspect package. On the second day the participants, attended to the Danube river crossing drill with the support of Ferry Battalion and 72nd Pontoons Battalion assets in Braila.
