NATO EOD Doctrine Course

Aim:
The aim of the course is to prepare NATO commanders and staff at the NATO operational level to coordinate EOD aspects of operations,  advise commanders on EOD matters and contribute to the development of NATO MILENG policy and doctrine.
Learning objectives:
After successful completion of the course, the graduates will be able to:        
  • advise on EOD aspects to the commander,
  • coordinate EOD aspects of operations on the JTF level,
  • contribute to NATO policy and doctrine on MILENG aspects.

Apply (on the basis of Bi-SC 075-007 Education and Individual Training Directive)
Course notes:

The training is to be conducted in Distributed Delivery - e-Learning at the Joint Advanced Distributed Learning platform.

Pre-requisite:

  • Complete the course ADL 374 Introduction to Multi-Domain Operations. The applicants are approved for the course after providing the ADL 374 Graduation certificate.
  • Complete the course ADL 169 Gender perspective in Military Operations. The applicants are approved for the course after providing the ADL 169 Graduation certificate.

The Estimated Course duration is 140 minutes.

Guidance for getting access to the NATO EOD Doctrine Course:

  1. Create your personal account on JADL platform (your password will be valid  after receiving the confirmation e-mail.)
    You can use the link https://jadl.act.nato.int/
  2. Log in to your personal account
  3. Among the categories  shown in the upper left corner choose the folder COURSES - REPOSITORY - CENTRES OF EXCELLENCE (COE’S) - Explosive Ordnance Disposal Centre of Excellence
  4. Choose ADL 367 NATO EOD DOCTRINE COURSE and click on it. You will be asked to write a message. Briefly introduce yourself and the reason why you are asking for the course admission.                                                                  
  5. Your registration will be approved by the Course Director NLT 48 hours after request and you will receive a confirmation email about  your admission to the course
