Aim:

The aim of the course is to prepare non-EOD personnel to recognise and respond to clandestine Homemade Explosives laboratories by enabling them to advise commanders on essential EOD-related considerations and to support the planning and management of EOD activities within operations.

Course objectives:

After successful completion of the course, the graduates will be able to:

advise on EOD aspects to the commander,
plan and manage EOD activities in support of operations.

Depth of knowledge:

Apply (on the basis of Bi-SC 075-007 Education and Individual Training Directive)

3 days (2 days theory, one day hands-on training)

Target audience:

NATO and NATO Partner Nations’ operational commanders and staff at the operational and tactical level:

JFCBS/NP: JENG/EOD Coordination Cell
LANDCOM: GENG/MN EOD CC
NFS HQ: EOD CC

NATO and NATO Partner Nations’ Non-EOD qualified personnel or EOD qualified personnel with no/little knowledge of HME.

Prerequisites:

Language: English, desired level of standard language proficiency (SLP) is 2222 (in accordance with STANAG 6001)
