On 24 NOV 2015, the Director of the NATO EOD Centre of Excellence received Ambassador of Hungary to Slovakia, Her Excellency Éva Czimbalmosné Molnár, accompanied by Hungarian Defence Attaché to Slovakia Col István TALIÁN and Secretary of HUN Embassy Mr András Dóczy.

During 15-16 November 2015, the Assistant Chief o Staff, Joint Education, Training and Exercise (JETE) from ACT, Brigadier General Dzintars Roga, who was appointed as the NATO EOD COE FOGO Champion, visited the NATO Explosive Ordnance Disposal Centre of Excellence in Trenčín.

On 13 November 2015 the EOD COE hosted a prestigious visit from Serbian Armed Forces, The Chief of the General Staff, General Ljubiša DJIKOVIĆ. General Dijkovič was accompanied by the Chief of Department for Planning and Development, Brigadier General Marinko PAVLOVIĆ, as well as other distinguished guests.

One of the EOD COE LLA section´s goals is to become a platform for experience and lessons sharing within EOD COI. The continuity in this effort is ensured by organizing EOD Operator’s LL Seminar yearly. In 2015, the EOD COE organised already the 4th Annual EOD Operators Lessons Learned Seminar.

During September 2015 the EOD COE Training Branch organized two runs of the Homemade Explosives Course – basic. The courses were performed with the assistance of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from Ammunition Testing Centre (ATC) and Institute of Energetic Materials (University of Pardubice, Czech Republic).

The courses were performed with the assistance of Subject Matter Experts from US Department of Justice Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Thermo Fischer Scientific(USA), Quinetiq(USA), Alluviam(USA), Institute of Energetic Materials (University of Pardubice, CZE), 15th Engineering Regiment(CZE) and National Centre of EOD and CBRN(SVK).

The C-IED COE in coordination with EOD COE organized the 2nd C-IED Technology Workshop in Madrid during the 9th to 11th June 2015. The EOD COE was represented by EOD COE Director COL Ľubomír Mrváň SVK(A), LTC Grzegorz Motak POL(A), LTC (Ret) Daniel Zoller, CPT Zuzana Čahojová and Mrs. Anna Farkašová.
