On February 29, 2024, the NATO EOD COE received a visit from Sweden's Ambassador to Austria and Slovakia, H.E. Ms Annika Markovic, accompanied by military attache LTC Jörgen Marqvardsen. Colonel František Mihalovic (SVK-A), EODCOE director, provided a briefing on the Centre's history, structure, mission and vision. The Head of the Education and Training Department, provided a short brief on the Centre´s education and training activities.

From 19 FEB to 22 FEB 2024, the NATO Allied Command Transformation/Joint Force Development/Education & Training Plans & Programmes Branch called for an ADF24 conference. The ADF24 was conducted in person at the Van der Valk Congress & Spa Hotel in Mons, Belgium.

On February 21, 2024, members of the Military-Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Slovak Republic visited the NATO EOD COE. During their visit, the Centre's director, Colonel František Mihalovič (SVK-A), provided a briefing on the Centre's history, structure, mission, vision, and main tasks.

The Training Centre, Lest located in Slovakia organised an instructional and methodical activity that was held from 05 FEB to 09 FEB 2024. The activity was attended by the Slovak Armed Forces divers from the 901st Engineer Regiment, 5th Special Operation Regiment, 51st Wing.

From 30th January to 01st February 2024, the HQ Supreme Allied Command Transformation (SACT) conducted a Periodic Assessment (PA) of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Centre of Excellence (EOD COE). The PA was planned and organized with principles that are reference to Military Committee Policy for Centres of Excellence (MC 0685).

From 14-16 November 2023 LTC Damian Piorko and LTC (ret.) Libor Neyki from the EOD Technologies Department took part in the GICHD Innovations Conference. The conference welcomed over 300 participants from more than 200 organizations operating in over 60 countries and territories.

The 27th NATO EOD COE Steering Committee meeting (SC mtg) was successfully completed. he meeting was held from 6 NOV to 9 NOV 2023 in Trencin, SVK. At the SC mtg, sponsoring nations representatives from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia approved Program of Work for 2024, E&T Calendar for 2024, Budget 2024.
