The 1st “EOD Operators Seminar” took place on 5 - 6 December 2012 in Bratislava, Slovakia, under the auspices of the NATO EOD COE. Main focus was to share information on ISAF EOD/IEDD operations through briefings and discussions based on respective Lessons Learned at the tactical level.

From the 12th to 14th November 2012 the EOD COE's Training Branch delivered the first HomeMade Explosives Awareness Course (HMEAC) to 8 NATO (BEL, EST, HUN, ITA, NLD, POL, SVK, SVN) and 1 PfP (RUS) country representatives, making it 17 participants in total.

NATO EOD COE delegation visited the NIC Instrument Limited EOD equipment demonstration. The event was hosted by PYRA Company on 3 JULY 2012 at the Police Academy in Bratislava where 20 participants took part, mostly Bomb technicians and qualified EOD personnel coming from military and police environment.
