Jaroslav BIELENY attended a meeting with High-level IRAQ MoD delegation, organized by the Emerging Security Challenges Division/NATO HQ in Brussels, BEL to discuss possible contribution of the NATO EOD COE to overall Slovak Republic offer in support of the IRAQ Forces training.
Attack the Network Tactical Awareness Course

NATO Allied Command Transformation’s Counter-Improvised Explosive Device Integrated Product Team (NATO ACT C-IED IPT), together with the contribution of the NATO EOD COE, conducted a "Attack the Network Tactical Awareness Course (ATAC)" on 17 – 21 JUN 2013, hosted by the NATO EOD COE within the premises of the Military club, Trencin (Slovakia).
The First International HME Advanced Course

On 09 – 13 September 2013 the EOD COE organized another training event specifically tailored to the needs of emergency responders that could be called upon to respond to a possible HME Lab, or assist in identifying, rendering safe and ultimately disposing of suspected HME.
International Children's Day

Joint CBRN Defence Training and Exercise Panel Meeting, Vyškov, CZE

On 27-30 MAY 2013, the NATO EOD COE Director, accompanied by the JCBRND COE member Capt (SVK Army) Pavel Truchly ( a future member of the EOD COE team) attended the Joint CBRN Defence Training and Exercise Panel meeting held at the JCBRND COE in Vyskov, CZE along with other 50 delegates from SCs, NATO, PfP and MD nations.
Establishment of Battlefield Information Collection & Exploitation Systems (BICES)

The NATO EOD COE is in a phase of final establishment of BICES at its premises. The system as a whole was established in 1999.
